I like this story about how one atheist handles Christmas with his extended, multi faith family. My situation probably isn’t that different, other than I don’t have a daughter (yet), and I am no divorced, and there isn’t a Jewish wing to our extended family (although Laura maintains her mob probably have Jewish blood in there somewhere based on the family name).

Aside the ranting, I totally agree with, and like their approach. As Mr Laden says to he fundamentalists:

this holiday is more ours than yours, because ours is everyone’s and yours is close minded, selfish, parsimonious and pompous. You are mean. Santa is jolly. We’re with Santa, you cold hearted bastards!
