From this page you can browse some of the photos that I have taken in the past few years. The pictures have usually been scanned from print originals taken by me. But there are some digital ones and some shots taken by my friends as well.

I have put the pages up in the form of a series of photo essays. The nav bar on the side will take you to everything or you can browse the sections below in the order things were put up.

May I recomend
Check out Walter Fenk's site for Peru and Bolivia photos. I met Walter while I was travelling there in 1999. UCD Mountaineering Club has photos of club activities on it's site as well. Every day I usually stop off at Catriona's photo blog and the Astronomy Picture of the Day.

I'll be happy to add links to other sites.

Alps 2003
I was back in the Alps in the Summer of 2003. This time in Switzerland. I am waiting to get the last of my photos back before I put all of them up here. But this is a taster of what is to come...

Peru 1999
In 1999 I made my first trip to South America. Over 5 weeks I travelled through southern Peru and Bolivia. These are the photos of the initial three weeks when I travelled from Lima to Cusco, did the Inca trail and saw the Peruvian end of Lake Titicaca.

I went back to Peru in 2001. In each of my trips I travelled from Arequipa north to Lima along the south west coast. These are some of the shots of those two trips.

Bolivia 1999
During my 1999 trip to South America I spent about a week of my time in Bolivia. I visited some of the Bolivian islands on lake Titicaca and La Paz. These are some of the things I saw.

I made my second trip to South America in the summer of 2001. This one was with an gang of friends and we travelled through Chile and Peru. Alps 2002
I was at the Mountaineering Council of Ireland Alpine meet in the summer of 2002. The meet was held in Chamonix and gave me (and the 150 others there) a chance to climb and hike in some of the best mountains in Europe. MOUNTAINEERING

Simon and Liz's Wedding 2000
Simon and Liz got married in the summer of 2000. Another of the wild men gone. What a blow. Still he did it in style (as the photos show). So this is my respectable Record of the day. The photos are of the wedding album sort, so this may appeal more to the ladies :-) WEDDING

Every year the UCD Mountaineering Club goes away over the new year for a trip of climbing, drinking and partying. For the millenium new year the club went to Delphi in Connemara. And Ciaran O'Brien brought a digital camera. What follows are the scenes he recorded. It is not for the faint of heart!
