Simon and Liz's Wedding 2000

The Reception
The reception followed. This was enlivened by a succession of speeches where people tried to embarrass the Groom as much as possible. Eating dancing and drinking continued until the wee small hours.

Simon's Dad won the prize for most embarrassing thing said about Simon. He produced "Snowy". Possibly the person/thing Simon loved most in the world? Prior to meeting Liz of course.

The cantilevered cake was cut carefully by the cautious couple.

I never would have had Simon down as the marrying type. So I know who set the bad example for him :-)

Roddy and Julie had got married the previous year. This must have given Simon ideas.

It looks like Liz got her man
